Recognizing Rare Sources

Chest DNA Mod uses visual rarity indicators to highlight items from valuable locations:

1. Look for shimmer effects and colored borders on origin cards when hovering over items

2. Special rarity colors appear for loot from End Cities, ancient cities, vaults, and other rare structures

3. These visual cues help you quickly spot high-value finds in large inventories without reading every tooltip

Filtering Your Loot

To organize items by rarity:

1. Hover over items systematically to scan for shimmer effects and colored borders

2. Note the structure names on origin cards—End Cities, ancient cities, and vaults are typically the most valuable sources

3. Hold Shift to verify coordinates if you want to return to a rare location later

The mod recognizes 36 different origin types, so you can distinguish between dungeon loot, mob drops, mined resources, crafted items, and traded goods. This makes it easy to sort your collection by source value and decide what to keep, trade, or use.
