Navigate the Reactor Hall Safely

Finding Your Way Through the Core

The reactor hall is the largest and most disorienting space in the station. Start by entering from the main corridor and look for the massive cylindrical reactor structure in the center. Use the tall support pillars and overhead pipes as landmarks to orient yourself.

Avoiding Dead Ends

The reactor hall has multiple levels connected by stairs and catwalks. Before committing to a path, look up and down to spot alternative routes. Many corridors loop back or lead to maintenance areas rather than forward progress. Check for open doorways along the outer walls—these typically lead to control rooms or equipment chambers.

Watch for gaps in the flooring and unstable-looking sections. Some areas are intentionally blocked off or damaged. If you hit a dead end, backtrack to the main reactor structure and try a different catwalk or stairwell. The layout is symmetrical in places, so if one direction feels familiar, you may be going in circles.

Bring torches or use night vision to spot details in the darkness. Hidden pathways often have subtle visual cues like open hatches or missing wall sections that are easier to spot with better lighting.
