Understanding the Layout

The control rooms are multi-chambered spaces filled with detailed equipment. Enter from the main station corridors and look for doorways marked with warning signs or control panel imagery. Most control rooms have an observation area with large windows overlooking the reactor hall, and a secondary chamber with monitoring stations.

Reading the Environment

Each control room contains buttons, switches, monitors, and indicator panels arranged on desks and walls. While these are primarily decorative, they tell a story about the station's operation. Examine the different sections: some areas focus on reactor monitoring, others on safety systems or power distribution.

Move systematically through each room rather than rushing. Check corners and side passages for smaller offices or storage areas. Many control rooms connect to adjacent spaces through internal doorways. Look for areas with chairs and desks—these were administrative zones. The most detailed equipment clusters usually mark the primary control stations where operators would have worked.
