How to Protect a World From Accidental Deletion

Why Pinned Worlds Are Safe

When a world is favorited, the delete button for that entry is greyed out and cannot be clicked. This is the mod's core safety feature: it turns a favorite into a soft lock against accidental deletion.

Step by Step

1. Open the world selection screen.

2. Click the pin icon on the world you want to protect.

3. Confirm the delete button on that row is now greyed out and unclickable.

If You Actually Want to Delete It

You must unpin the world first. Click the pin icon again to unfavorite it, then the delete button becomes active and you can remove the world normally. There is no separate confirmation dialog added by the mod — the protection is the greyed-out button itself.

Things to Know

This protection only guards against deletion from the in-game world list. It does not encrypt, back up, or hide the world folder, so deleting the save from your file system still removes it. Treat pinning as a guard against misclicks, not as a backup. If you want true safety, still copy important worlds elsewhere.
