How to Organize and Rename Your Saved Worlds

Renaming Worlds

Cherished Worlds lets you rename saved worlds for better organization. Use the rename option on a world entry in the selection screen, type the new name, and confirm. The new name is what appears in your list from then on.

Combining Rename With Pinning

A practical workflow is to rename first, then pin. Give worlds clear labels — for example a project name or the date you started — so that when several are pinned at the top, you can tell them apart at a glance. Pinned worlds sort by last played date, so consistent naming makes that ordering readable.

Switching Between Worlds

Because favorites stay at the top, you can hop between your active worlds without scrolling or hunting. There is no need to manually back up and swap save folders just to change which world you play — the list keeps them all accessible and ordered.

Housekeeping Tips

Unpin worlds you have finished with so the top section stays short and useful. Keep long-term archive worlds unpinned but clearly renamed. Since the mod is client-side, renaming and pinning only change how your local list looks; they do not alter the world's internal data or its folder name on disk.
