Change the Highlight Color

Accessing Color Settings

Open ModMenu and navigate to Chat Highlighter Mod's configuration. Look for the highlight color option—this controls the color applied to all highlighted words.

Selecting Your Color

Click on the color picker or color field. Depending on your mod version, you may see:

• A color wheel to click and select from
• A hex color code input field
• A preset color palette

Choose a color that contrasts well with your chat background for maximum visibility.

Testing Your Choice

Save the settings and check your chat. If words from your highlight list appear, they should now display in your chosen color. If the color is too similar to your chat background or text, return to settings and try a different option.

Recommended Colors

Bright colors like yellow, lime green, or cyan work well for visibility. Avoid colors too close to your default chat text color.
