Add Words to Your Highlight List

Opening the Configuration Menu

Open ModMenu while in-game by pressing the designated ModMenu key (usually C). Find Chat Highlighter Mod in the list and select it to access the configuration screen.

Adding New Words

Locate the word list section in the settings. You'll see an option to add new words to highlight. Enter each word you want to monitor—common choices include your username, friend names, important server commands, or keywords like "event" or "alert."

Saving Your Changes

After adding words, confirm and save your configuration. The mod will immediately begin highlighting these words wherever they appear in chat, making them stand out from regular messages.

Tips for Effective Lists

Consider adding:

• Your own username (to spot direct mentions)
• Friend or teammate names
• Server-specific keywords (like "winner" or "restart")
• Important commands you need to notice

You can modify this list anytime through ModMenu without restarting the game.
