Enable Glowing Effects on Your Combat Gear

Install OptiFine

The glowing effect on your armor and weapons requires OptiFine to render correctly. Without it, your gear will display with the clean textures but without the bright glow.

1. Install OptiFine for your Minecraft version

2. Launch Minecraft with OptiFine selected as your profile

3. Open Video Settings and confirm shader support is enabled

Activate the Resource Pack

Once OptiFine is running:

1. Open your Resource Packs menu

2. Locate Chaos PvP Pack in the available packs list

3. Click the arrow to move it to the active packs section

4. Place it above any conflicting packs (like default textures)

5. Close the menu and rejoin your world

Your Netherite armor, weapons, and tools should now display with glowing yellow or gold outlines. The effect is most visible in darker areas and during nighttime. If the glow doesn't appear, verify OptiFine is active in your Video Settings.
