Mine an entire ore vein with one keystroke

Basic Vein Mining

The core feature of Chain Vein Mod lets you instantly extract a complete ore vein without clicking repeatedly.

Steps:

1. Equip any pickaxe (or appropriate tool for your target ore)

2. Look directly at an ore block you want to mine

3. Press V (default keybind)

4. The entire connected vein of that ore type will instantly break and drop as items

What counts as a vein?

The mod traces all ore blocks of the same type that are touching each other (including diagonally adjacent blocks in some configurations). It stops at air, stone, or different ore types.

Tips:

• Works with both vanilla ores (coal, iron, diamond, etc.) and modded ores
• Your tool must be capable of breaking that ore type, or nothing will happen
• Enchantments like Silk Touch and Fortune apply to all blocks in the vein
• If you have sneak-disable enabled in settings, crouching will prevent vein mining on that keystroke
