Set Up Your HUD Layout for Crystal Fights

Access the HUD Editor

Open the Celeste Client menu and locate the HUD customization panel. This lets you position vital information exactly where you need it during end crystal fights.

Position Key Overlays

Drag and arrange your active modules' display elements across your screen. Prioritize:

  • Health and shield status — place near center for quick glances
  • Target tracking info — position where your eyes naturally drift during aim
  • Knockback indicators — keep visible to time jump resets after taking hits
  • Active module toggles — group in a corner so you know which tools are live

Test in Combat

Enter a practice crystal fight and verify your layout doesn't obstruct your view of crystals, terrain, or opponents. Adjust transparency if overlays feel cluttered. Save your configuration so it persists across sessions.

Fine-Tune During Play

After a few fights, return to the editor and shift elements based on what you actually looked at. Remove overlays you didn't use—cleaner HUDs let you focus on mechanics rather than UI.
