Common Issues and Solutions

Cauldron isn't full of water:

Ensure the cauldron is completely filled. Use a water bucket and click until the water level reaches maximum capacity. Partially filled cauldrons won't trigger conversion.

Powder isn't dropping into the cauldron:

Make sure you're dropping the powder directly into the cauldron's opening, not beside it. Stand close and aim at the center of the cauldron block before pressing your drop key.

Water disappeared from the cauldron:

Water in cauldrons can be consumed by other mechanics. Refill it with a water bucket and try again.

Verification

Confirm the data pack is active by checking your world settings or using commands. The conversion should happen instantly when powder contacts water in the cauldron. If nothing occurs after dropping powder into a full cauldron, the data pack may not be properly loaded—restart your world or reinstall if needed.
