Set Up a Custom Resource Pack for SkyBlock Items

Prepare Your Resource Pack

Before loading Catharsis Mod, ensure your resource pack is designed to work with SkyBlock's item system. The pack should include custom model data (CMD) files that target specific items by their NBT tags and lore text.

Load the Mod and Pack Together

1. Launch Minecraft with Fabric and Fabric Language Kotlin installed alongside Catharsis Mod

2. In your resource packs folder, place your custom SkyBlock-compatible pack

3. Open the resource pack selection screen and move your pack to the active list

4. Join a Hypixel SkyBlock server

The mod will automatically read the special data embedded in SkyBlock items and apply your pack's textures. You should see custom models appear on weapons, armor, and tools immediately.

Troubleshoot Missing Textures

If items still appear vanilla:

• Verify the pack contains proper custom model data files
• Check that item NBT tags match what the pack expects
• Restart the game and rejoin the server
• Ensure the pack is above vanilla resources in load order
