Set Up Pipez Filters Without Diamond Upgrades

Remove the Diamond Upgrade Requirement

Catalytic Tweaks lets you control Pipez filters and redstone modes without needing diamond upgrades. This saves resources and lets you configure pipes earlier in progression.

How to Configure

1. Open your mod config folder and locate the Pipez configuration file

2. Find the settings that control filter access and redstone mode availability

3. Disable the diamond upgrade requirement by toggling the relevant option

4. Save the config and restart your game

Using Filters In-Game

Once enabled, place basic upgrades into your Pipez blocks. The filter menu will unlock automatically. You can now:

• Right-click pipes to open the filter interface
• Set item filters directly without crafting diamond upgrades
• Control redstone behavior from the same menu
• Adjust settings on the fly as your automation changes

This change is entirely optional—if you prefer the vanilla progression, leave the config unchanged. The mod only affects the specific features you enable.
