Inspect Item Details and NBT Data with Commands

Use KubeJS Commands to Check Items

Catalytic Tweaks adds commands that let you examine items and blocks in detail without opening external tools. This is useful for debugging recipes, checking item tags, and verifying NBT data.

Available Commands

• /kjs hand item — Displays exact details of the item you're currently holding, including tags and NBT data
• /kjs look — Shows information about the block you're looking at from a distance
• /kjs recipe — Opens a chest menu interface for building custom recipes

In-Game Workflow

1. Hold an item in your hand

2. Type /kjs hand item in chat

3. The output shows item ID, tags, and any NBT values

4. For blocks, look directly at them and use /kjs look

5. Copy this information into recipe scripts or documentation
