Use Cat Jam on multiplayer servers without affecting other players

Client-side mod behavior

Cat Jam Mod is entirely client-side, meaning it only affects what you see on your screen. Other players on the server won't see your cats dancing, and you won't see theirs — unless they also have the mod installed.

No server changes required

You don't need to ask server admins to install or enable anything. Simply have the mod on your client and play normally. Place jukeboxes, tame cats, and play music discs as usual. The dancing is purely visual on your end.

Playing on any server

This works on vanilla servers, modded servers, and servers with anti-cheat systems. Since Cat Jam doesn't modify game mechanics or give you advantages, it's compatible with almost any multiplayer environment.

Multiplayer tips

If friends also install the mod, you can both enjoy the dancing in the same world, though you'll each see your own version. Coordinate cat locations and music choices to create a shared experience, even though the visual effect is independent for each player.
