Set up a cat dance floor with a jukebox

Finding and placing your jukebox

First, craft or locate a jukebox in your base or house. This is the core of any cat dance setup. Place it in an open area where cats can gather around it — a central room or outdoor courtyard works best.

Attracting cats to your dance floor

Tame cats using raw fish or raw salmon. Once tamed, they'll follow you and naturally stay nearby. Bring several cats to the area around your jukebox. The more cats you have, the more impressive the synchronized dancing will be.

Starting the performance

Insert any music disc into the jukebox. The moment the music starts playing, nearby tamed cats will begin their unique dance routine for that specific disc. Different discs trigger different head-bobbing patterns, so try several to see the variety.

Tips for the best show

Place the jukebox on a raised platform or in the center of a room so cats can position themselves around it. Keep the area well-lit and free of obstacles so you can see the full dance moves. You can leave the jukebox playing on repeat to keep your cats entertained while you work nearby.
