Enhance God Rays and Bloom Effects for Better Visuals
Locate Lighting Effects Options
Open your shader settings menu and find the section labeled Lighting, Atmospheric Effects, or Post-Processing. This is where god rays and bloom are controlled.
Adjust God Rays
Look for settings like:
- God Ray Intensity: Increases or decreases how bright and visible the light beams are when sun shines through trees and clouds.
- God Ray Density: Controls how thick and volumetric the rays appear.
- Ray Length: Determines how far the rays extend across the sky.
Fine-Tune Bloom
Find bloom or glow settings and adjust:
- Bloom Strength: Makes light sources (torches, lava, glowing blocks) glow more intensely.
- Bloom Radius: Expands how far the glow spreads into surrounding areas.
Test in Ideal Conditions
These effects are most visible during sunrise, sunset, or when standing in forests with bright sunlight. Adjust settings, then visit these locations to see real-time changes. Increase values gradually to avoid an over-saturated or washed-out appearance.
