Enable and Control Foliage Animation (Leaf and Grass Waving)

Find Animation Settings

Open your shader configuration menu and search for Animation, Wind, or Foliage options. Cartoon Dreams Shaders includes wind simulation that makes leaves, grass, and plants sway naturally.

Configure Wind Effects

Adjustable parameters typically include:

  • Wind Strength: Controls how vigorously plants move. Higher values create more dramatic swaying.
  • Wind Speed: Determines how fast the animation cycles. Slower speeds feel calm; faster speeds create energetic movement.
  • Wave Frequency: Adjusts how often the waving pattern repeats across different foliage.
  • Animation Range: Some shaders let you limit which block types animate (leaves only, or leaves plus tall grass).

Observe and Refine

Walk through forests, jungles, and grassy plains to see the effect in action. Wind animation should feel natural and not distract from gameplay. If movement seems too exaggerated or too subtle, return to settings and adjust wind strength and speed. Test during different times of day—animation may appear different under various lighting conditions.
