Understand How Carry Me Mod Preserves Original Mechanics

What Stays the Same

Carry Me Mod doesn't change how the Carry On mod works mechanically. You can still pick up mobs, blocks, and other entities exactly as before. The only addition is a permission layer for player-to-player carrying.

Carrying Mobs and Blocks

Your ability to pick up animals, hostile mobs, and movable blocks is completely unaffected by this mod. Carry permissions only apply when one player attempts to carry another player.

Movement and Physics

When you're being carried (with permission), the physics, camera angle, and movement mechanics remain identical to the original mod. Nothing about the carrying experience changes—only who can initiate it.

Multiplayer Safety

The mod simply adds consent to multiplayer scenarios. In single-player, nothing changes at all. On servers, players can now opt out of being picked up without losing any other features of the Carry On mod.
