Attaching Carpets to Ceilings

Ceiling carpets add depth and visual interest to indoor spaces. Sneak and right-click on the underside of a block (the ceiling surface) to place a carpet there. The carpet will hang flat against the ceiling without falling.

Design Applications

• Create decorative ceiling panels by placing carpets in grid patterns
• Use contrasting carpet colors to define room sections
• Combine different carpet types for visual variety in large builds
• Frame light sources or other ceiling features with carpet borders

Practical Considerations

• Ceiling carpets are purely decorative and do not affect gameplay mechanics
• They work on any solid block ceiling, including stone, wood, or concrete
• You can place carpets on the underside of slabs and stairs for more detailed designs
• Break ceiling carpets by looking up and left-clicking them

Lighting and Visibility

Carpets do not block light, so ceiling-mounted carpets won't darken rooms. This makes them ideal for decorative purposes without sacrificing illumination.
