Create Layered Carpet Designs
Stacking and Overlapping
You can layer multiple carpets on the same surface to create complex patterns and textures. Place one carpet, then sneak and right-click the same block face again to add another carpet layer. Each layer maintains its own color and appearance.
Multi-Surface Designs
- Combine floor, wall, and ceiling carpets to create cohesive room themes
- Use layering on walls to build decorative frames or panels
- Mix carpet colors across different surfaces for visual contrast
- Create borders by layering carpets of different widths or colors
Building Techniques
- Plan your design before placing carpets—sketch it out mentally or on paper
- Start with a base color, then add accent layers
- Use symmetry to create balanced, professional-looking interiors
- Test color combinations on a small section first
Removing Layers
When multiple carpets occupy the same space, left-click to remove them one at a time. The topmost layer breaks first, allowing you to dismantle designs carefully without losing all pieces at once.
