Using Campfires as Respawn Points

Campfire Spawning

Lighting a campfire creates a spawn point on top of it. This works in the Overworld, the Nether, the End, and modded dimensions, so you can establish a respawn anchor almost anywhere you can place and light a campfire.

When you respawn at a campfire, you receive ten seconds of fire resistance. This gives you a moment of protection if you reappear somewhere dangerous, such as near lava or in the Nether.

The mod also clears blocks above the campfire automatically, preventing you from suffocating in a block when you respawn on top of it. This means you do not need to manually keep the space above your campfire clear.

To set your respawn point, simply light the campfire. There is no separate item or ritual required. As long as the campfire stays lit, it serves as your spawn point.
