Using the Facade Wrench to Remove or Rotate Facades

What the Wrench Does

The Facade Wrench is the tool for adjusting Facades after they are placed. Rather than breaking a Facade and losing it, you can right-click with the Wrench to pop the Facade off the cable and recover it. This is useful when you applied the wrong block texture or want to change the look of a run of cables without re-crafting covers.

Step by Step

Hold the Facade Wrench and right-click the Facade you want to change. The Facade detaches and returns to your inventory (or drops on the ground, depending on how your mod is configured). Pick it up, then re-apply it to a different face or a different cable by right-clicking with the Facade in hand.

If you are trying to rotate a Facade so its texture lines up with neighbouring blocks, remove it with the Wrench and place it again facing the direction you want. Because Facades are directional, the face you click determines the orientation, so aim carefully at the side you want covered. Repeat for each Facade along the cable run until the disguise looks seamless.
