How to Disguise a Cable with a Facade

Placing the Facade

A Facade is a cover that sits over a cable so the cable looks like a normal block from the outside. To apply one, hold the Facade in your hand and right-click the cable you want to hide. The Facade takes on the appearance of whatever block it was crafted from, so a Facade made from stone will make your cable look like stone.

If the cable runs in more than one direction, a single Facade only covers the side you are facing. You will usually need to apply a Facade to each exposed face of the cable so no bare cable is visible. Walk around the cable and right-click each side that shows.

Checking and Removing

After placing, look at the cable from a few angles to confirm every visible face is covered. If a side is still showing the cable texture, apply another Facade there. To remove a Facade, break it the same way you would break the block it mimics, or use the Facade Wrench if the mod provides one for that purpose. Removing a Facade leaves the cable underneath intact, so you can re-cover it later without losing your wiring.
