Reduce Film Grain for Clearer Visuals
Locate Grain Settings
Open your shader configuration menu from the video settings. Find the film grain or noise slider—this controls the subtle grainy texture Bybyshader applies to create a movie-like appearance.
Adjust Grain Intensity
If the grain effect feels too heavy and makes your world look noisy or unclear, lower the grain slider. Reducing it will give you sharper, cleaner visuals while maintaining the shader's enhanced lighting and color vibrancy.
Balance Aesthetics and Clarity
Bybyshader's grain is intentionally light, but personal preference varies:
- Lower grain: Better for detailed building and reading text
- Higher grain: Enhances the cinematic, fantasy movie feel
Apply and Compare
After adjusting, look at different blocks and landscapes to see how the change affects readability and atmosphere. Pay attention to how it looks during both day and night cycles.
Save your settings once you've found your preferred balance between the shader's artistic style and visual clarity.
