Adjust Shader Settings for Your Computer's Performance

Access the Shader Menu

Press the key to open the shader options menu (usually accessed through your mod menu or by pressing a designated hotkey). You'll see a list of performance profiles available.

Choose the Right Profile

The mod includes multiple profiles designed for different hardware:

  • Potato: Minimal visual enhancements; use this if you experience lag or have older hardware
  • Low: Basic colored lighting and shadows with reduced quality
  • Medium: Balanced visuals and performance for most modern computers
  • High: Full features including detailed PBR rendering and advanced lighting effects

Fine-Tune Individual Settings

Within your chosen profile, you can adjust specific features:

  • Toggle colored lighting on or off
  • Adjust shadow softness and distance
  • Enable or disable PBR material rendering
  • Control leaf and grass animation intensity

After changing settings, the shader reloads automatically. If you experience stuttering or lag, drop to a lower profile or disable resource-intensive features like PBR support. Test your changes in-game by moving around and observing frame rate stability.
