Enhance Sunbeams and Lighting in Your World
Locate Lighting Enhancement Settings
Open Shader Options and find controls for volumetric lighting, god rays, or sunbeam effects. BVS Best Shaders includes options to strengthen or soften these atmospheric effects.
Adjust Sunbeam Intensity
Increase the volumetric lighting slider to make sunbeams more visible and dramatic, especially in areas with trees, clouds, or tall structures that create shadows. This effect is most noticeable during midday when the sun is high.
Test in Varied Environments
Visit different locations to see how sunbeams interact with your world. Forest areas with dense canopies show the effect well, as do canyons and tall buildings. Open plains may show less dramatic beams since there are fewer obstacles to create shadows.
Fine-Tune for Balance
If sunbeams become overwhelming or distracting, reduce the intensity slightly. The goal is to add atmospheric depth without making it hard to see or play. Experiment until the lighting feels natural and enhances your gameplay experience.
