Control Bloom and Light Glow Intensity

Find Bloom Settings

Access the shader configuration menu and search for bloom, glow, or luminance options. These controls determine how brightly light sources and bright blocks emit light into surrounding areas.

Adjust Bloom Strength

Increase bloom intensity to enhance the fantasy feel—glowing lava, torches, and bright blocks will cast more visible light halos. Decrease it for a more grounded, realistic appearance. Most players find a middle ground works best for visibility without overwhelming the scene.

Manage Light Source Glow

Separate sliders may control glow from different light types: artificial lights (torches, lanterns), natural sources (lava, glowstone), and sky light. Customize each independently to match your preferred aesthetic.

Balance Performance and Visuals

Higher bloom settings require more processing power. If frame rates drop, reduce bloom strength slightly. Test in various lighting conditions—caves, night scenes, and bright daylight—to ensure the glow feels natural rather than washed out or overpowering.
