How to Perform a Spin

The spin attack is your primary tool for destroying wooden crates and clearing paths. To spin, press and hold the designated spin button (usually a dedicated key or right-click, depending on your control setup) while moving forward. Crash will rotate rapidly, damaging anything in his path.

Using Spin Effectively

Approach crates head-on and activate your spin just before contact. The spin has a short range, so positioning matters—you need to be close enough for the hitbox to connect. Multiple crates in a row can be cleared by maintaining momentum and keeping the spin active as you move through them.

Spin also works against certain enemies and hazards. If you time it right, you can destroy obstacles without taking damage. However, spinning leaves you vulnerable if you miss, so practice your timing on easier sections first.

Combining Spin with Jumping

You can spin while airborne to hit crates at different heights. Jump toward an elevated crate, then activate spin mid-air to strike it. This technique is essential for reaching all collectibles in the level and maximizing your score.
