Configure Specific Mobs to Burn in Sunlight

Add Custom Mobs to Sun Burning List

The mod allows you to specify exactly which mobs should burn when exposed to sunlight, beyond the default undead mobs.

How to Configure

1. Open the mod's configuration file from your config folder

2. Locate the entity or mob list section — this is where you specify which living entities burn

3. Add mob entries using their entity IDs (for example: minecraft:chicken, minecraft:cow, or IDs from other mods)

4. Save the file and restart your world or server

Finding Entity IDs

Entity IDs follow the format modname:entityname. For vanilla Minecraft mobs, use the minecraft: prefix. For modded mobs, use the mod's ID (check the mod's documentation or use /summon commands to discover correct IDs).

Testing Your Changes

After restarting, spawn the configured mob in sunlight to verify it burns. If it doesn't work, double-check the entity ID spelling and ensure the config file was saved properly. The mod is server-side, so clients don't need updates.
