Configuring Spawn Depths for Buried Wrecks
Accessing Configuration
The mod allows you to customize the Y-level range where buried wrecks spawn. Configuration files are typically found in your mod's config folder or world settings, depending on your setup.
Understanding Y-Levels
Y-level refers to vertical height in your world. Lower Y-values are deeper underground. By adjusting the spawn range, you control whether wrecks appear near the surface, deep in caves, or throughout a specific band of depths.
Making Changes
Edit the configuration to set minimum and maximum Y-levels for wreck generation. For example, you might restrict spawns to deep caves only, or allow them throughout the entire underground. Changes typically apply to newly generated chunks.
Testing Your Settings
After adjusting config values, explore newly generated cave systems to verify wrecks spawn at your desired depths. Existing chunks won't be affected by configuration changes, so venture into unexplored territory to see the new settings in action.
