Changing Wand Placement Mode and Block Limit

Why Change Modes

By default a Building Wand places a line of blocks in the direction you are facing. Switching modes lets you place walls, floors, or cubes in one action, which is essential for large builds.

Cycling Modes

1. Hold the Building Wand in your main hand.

2. Sneak and scroll the mouse wheel, or press the mod's mode key (check your controls menu under the Building Wands category).

3. Watch the action bar — it shows the current mode name.

4. Common modes include: single line, horizontal plane, vertical plane, and cube/area.

Adjusting the Block Limit

  • The number of blocks placed per action is capped by your wand tier.
  • Sneak-scroll in the opposite direction (or use the limit key) to increase or decrease the count.
  • The action bar shows the current limit, e.g. "3x3" or a block count.

Practical Workflow

  • Use line mode for edges and outlines.
  • Switch to plane mode to fill walls and floors quickly.
  • Use cube mode sparingly — it can place blocks you did not intend, especially near existing structures.

Always test a new mode on flat ground before aiming at your build. If placement looks wrong, cycle back to line mode and re-aim.
