Adjust Lighting Intensity to Reduce Eye Strain
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the key bound to shader settings (default varies by launcher). Look for the BSR Shaders configuration panel.
Reduce Brightness
Locate the brightness or exposure slider in the main settings. Lower this value if the vibrant colors feel too intense during extended play sessions. Start by reducing it by 10–15% and test in different lighting conditions—both daylight and night.
Fine-Tune Light Saturation
Find the color saturation or vibrancy control. Decreasing this will make colors less intense while maintaining the shader's visual style. This is useful if you prefer a more balanced look between vanilla and enhanced visuals.
Test Your Changes
Move between different environments—caves, forests, and open sky—to see how your adjustments affect visibility and comfort. Save your settings once you find a comfortable balance. You can always revert to defaults if needed.
