Understanding the Threat

Skeletons in this mod are significantly more dangerous. They persist through daylight, can switch between ranged and melee combat based on distance, and can fire arrows from the sky—a devastating attack that ignores line-of-sight protection.

Defensive Tactics

• Use solid overhead cover like slabs or stairs—arrows from above can still penetrate open roofs
• Create enclosed spaces for farming or mining to avoid surprise aerial attacks
• Wear high-defense armor since you can't rely on fire immunity strategies
• Stay mobile rather than camping in one spot; skeletons will adapt their tactics

Combat Strategy

When engaging skeletons directly:

• Close the distance quickly to force them into sword mode, where they're less effective
• Use shields to block their arrows during approach
• Fight in confined spaces where their aerial attack has limited effectiveness
• Bring healing items—skeleton fights will drain your health faster than vanilla combat

Consider avoiding skeleton-heavy areas during early progression until you have strong armor and healing supplies.
