Spotting Wear During Gameplay

As you mine, chop, or dig, watch for:

• Visible cracks and chips forming on the tool head or blade
• Progressive darkening or discoloration of the texture
• Worn edges and splintered handles on wooden tools
• Fractured surfaces on harder material tools

Acting on Visual Cues

When the white flash appears, you have a small window to finish your current task or reach an anvil. If you see red flashing on a diamond or netherite tool, stop using it immediately—one more action will destroy it. This system keeps you engaged with the game world instead of stat screens, making survival gameplay feel more immersive and reactive.
