Use Brightness Plus With Graphics Mods

Verify Mod Compatibility

Brightness Plus is designed to work alongside popular graphics enhancement tools like Sodium, Optifine, and Vulkan. These mods handle rendering optimization and visual effects, while Brightness Plus controls overall light levels independently.

Configure Settings Together

If you're using Optifine or Sodium, adjust their brightness and contrast settings separately from Brightness Plus. Optifine's brightness slider and Brightness Plus's percentage control work on different systems—experiment to find a combination that looks natural and doesn't cause eye strain.

Adjust for Performance

When running Brightness Plus with graphics mods, monitor your frame rate. Increasing brightness to extreme levels (800%+) combined with high-end graphics settings may impact performance on lower-end systems. Lower the brightness slightly if you notice frame drops.

Test Your Setup

Load a world and toggle Brightness Plus on and off while your graphics mod is active. Ensure the brightness change is visible and that no visual glitches occur. If settings conflict, disable one mod temporarily to identify the issue.
