Building a Bridge Across a Gap Without Sneaking

Why this beats the vanilla sneak method

Normally you have to sneak to the very edge and place blocks under yourself, which is slow and risky. Bridging Mod removes that step: you can stand safely back from the edge and place blocks into the air ahead of you, then walk onto them.

Doing it

1. Approach the gap but stop a comfortable distance from the edge.

2. Look down and slightly forward so the target air space is just past the lip of the ledge.

3. Right-click to place the first block. It appears floating in the air.

4. Step forward onto the new block, then repeat: look down-forward, right-click, step.

5. Keep your crosshair on the empty space ahead of your feet. The mod's special crosshair confirms a valid spot.

Staying safe

  • Do not sprint while bridging; a steady walk keeps your aim consistent.
  • If a placement fails, re-aim slightly — you may be pointing at a block face instead of empty air.
  • For long bridges, consider raising the placement delay in the mod settings so you do not accidentally place two blocks in one spot.
  • Remember this is a single-player or private-server tool; on large public servers it can be treated as an unfair advantage.
