Enhance Colored Lighting from Light Sources
Understand Colored Lighting Mechanics
Breeze Flow Shaders automatically casts realistic colored light from torches, lanterns, and other light-emitting blocks. Different light sources emit different colors—torches cast warm orange/yellow light, while certain blocks may emit cooler tones.
Maximize Lighting Effects
To make colored lighting most visible:
- Build in darker areas: Caves, underground bases, and night scenes show colored lighting most dramatically. The contrast between lit and unlit areas makes the effect prominent.
- Use varied light sources: Mix torches, lanterns, and other emitters to create layered colored light that blends realistically.
- Adjust ambient lighting settings: In shader options, increase light bloom or glow intensity to make colored light halos more pronounced around sources.
Optimize for Your Preference
If colored lighting appears too subtle or too intense:
- Lower the "Light Bloom" slider to reduce halos
- Increase "Ambient Light" if you want more color saturation in shadows
- Adjust "Colored Light Strength" if available in your shader version
Test changes in a controlled environment—a small room with a few torches—before applying them to your main build.
