Make Your World Look Less Repetitive with Block Variations
Understanding Block Variation
Bray's World includes multiple texture variants for common blocks like dirt, stone, and wood planks. These variants load automatically—you don't need to do anything special to enable them. When you place blocks, the pack randomly selects from available textures to create natural-looking terrain and builds.
Tips for Best Results
Plan your builds with variation in mind. When constructing walls or floors, place blocks naturally rather than in perfect grids. The random textures will blend together more convincingly if you avoid symmetrical patterns.
Use the variants in terrain work. When terraforming or creating landscapes, let the natural texture mixing happen. Dirt paths, stone foundations, and wooden structures will automatically look more organic.
Mix block types intentionally. Combine different stone variants, wood types, or dirt blocks in the same structure. The pack's textures are designed to complement each other across biomes and block families.
Check biome-specific colors. Grass, leaves, and water shift colors based on your biome. Build in different environments to see how the pack adapts—a forest looks distinctly different from a desert or swamp.
