Locating the Desert Palace

Desert palaces spawn naturally in desert and badlands biomes. Travel to these biomes and explore the landscape—the palace is a medium-sized sandstone structure with distinctive brown roofing and lanterns. Look for the tallest structure in the area, as the palace's tower makes it visible from a distance.

Preparing for Exploration

Bring basic mining tools (at least stone tier) and weapons, as the palace may contain hostile mobs. Pack torches to light your way through dark interior chambers.

Collecting Loot

Search all chests and containers throughout the palace. You'll find golden apples, enchanted books, and pottery shards. These are valuable trading items and enchantment sources. Golden apples are particularly useful for healing in difficult situations, while enchanted books can be applied to your gear using an anvil.

Tips

Explore methodically, checking every room and level. The palace has multiple floors and hidden areas. Mark your path back to the entrance with torches or blocks to avoid getting lost in the interior chambers.
