Collecting Loot from Medieval Houses

Locating Medieval Houses

Small medieval houses are scattered throughout the world in various biomes. They're smaller than palaces and churches, featuring stone brick construction with characteristic roofs. Travel away from your base and explore different biomes—you'll encounter these houses during exploration.

Identifying Valuable Chests

Each house contains chests with gold and enchanted golden apples. Enchanted golden apples are rarer and more valuable than regular golden apples, providing stronger healing and temporary status effects. Gold can be smelted into gold ingots for crafting or trading.

Efficient Looting Strategy

Bring a pickaxe to break chests if needed, and enough inventory space to carry loot back to your base. If you find multiple houses in one area, loot them all before returning home to maximize your haul.

Farmhouse Variations

Old farmhouses also generate and contain similar rewards. These structures are often found in grassy or agricultural biomes. They may have different interior layouts but follow the same looting principles.
