Help Bees Find Their Way Home Consistently

How Memory Works in This Mod

Bees now have a much stronger memory of their hive location. Once a bee is assigned to a hive, it remembers that location and prioritizes returning there, even after long foraging trips.

Maintain a Clear Path

While the mod's pathfinding is significantly improved, bees still benefit from relatively unobstructed routes between their hive and foraging areas. Avoid building dense structures that completely surround your hive, as this can still make navigation inefficient.

Use Multiple Hives for Large Operations

If you're running a large bee farm, place multiple hives across your foraging area. Each hive becomes a home base for its own bee population, and the improved AI ensures each colony stays loyal to its assigned hive rather than wandering between them.

Test Your Setup

Watch your bees over time. They should consistently return home after foraging, and you shouldn't see bees flying aimlessly. If a bee does seem lost, the mod's better navigation will eventually guide it back.
