BoxLib Mod: A Developer Library Guide

What BoxLib Does

BoxLib Mod is not a gameplay mod — it is a utility library that other mods can depend on. It bundles common helper code so developers do not have to rewrite the same routines in every project. If you installed it expecting new blocks, items, or mobs, you will not find them here; its purpose is to support the mods that use it.

Included Utilities

BoxLib provides a config GUI handler alongside a config file loader and saver, so mods can expose settings without building their own screens. It also offers client and server command handling, math helpers, GUI and rendering utilities, world utilities, and a mod logger. Extra tools include Google translation features, rendering layouts, keybinding helpers, a prompt system, and 3D world rendering support.

Who Should Use It

BoxLib is aimed at mod developers rather than regular players. If another installed mod lists BoxLib as a dependency, keep it installed so that mod can load and run correctly.
