How to Scope and Fire the Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle

Activating the Scope

The Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle replaces the crossbow. When you right-click to aim, the scope view activates, zooming your vision and displaying a crosshair. This optical zoom is functional—your screen magnifies the target area, making distant shots much easier to line up.

Firing and Bolting

After each shot, the bolting animation plays automatically, chambering the next round. This animation is purely visual and doesn't slow your actual fire rate compared to vanilla crossbows. You can fire as quickly as you pull the trigger.

Ammo and Range

Arrows (gray bullets) are your ammunition. The sniper rifle excels at long-range engagements thanks to the scope. Unlike the Submachine Gun, this weapon rewards patience and positioning. Find high ground or distance, scope in on your target, and take your shot. The scope makes it much easier to land headshots on distant enemies.
