Learn Bowmaster Vael's Movement Patterns
Study His Repositioning Behavior
Bowmaster Vael constantly slides and backflips to maintain distance and avoid melee attacks. He favors ranged combat and uses mobility to stay out of your reach. Observe his movement for 30 seconds before engaging—notice whether he prefers sliding left, backflipping away, or circling your position.
Predict His Next Position
Vael's movements aren't random. He typically repositions after firing volleys or using crowd control. Anticipate his next location by watching his animation windup. If he's preparing a backflip, he'll move away from you; if he's sliding, he'll circle sideways.
Cut Off Escape Routes
Use your arena's cover points to limit his repositioning options. Position yourself so his natural escape paths lead toward your prepared defenses rather than open space. This forces him into predictable patterns and makes his attacks easier to dodge.
Exploit Stationary Moments
Vael must pause briefly to aim his bow before firing. This is when he's most vulnerable to melee attacks or your own ranged strikes. Close distance during these brief windows, land hits, then retreat before his next reposition. Patience and timing matter more than raw damage output.
