Using Charge Colors to Counter Skeleton and Pillager Attacks

Reading Enemy Bow Charge

When skeletons or pillagers aim at you, the Bow Charger Resource Pack displays their charge level using the same color system as your own bow. This visual feedback gives you crucial information for defensive tactics.

Watch the enemy's bow color to predict arrow impact timing. A red or yellow charge means their shot is weak—you can tank the hit or move casually. A green or blue charge indicates an incoming powerful arrow that demands immediate evasion.

Defensive Strategy

Use the color indicator to time your dodges more effectively. When you see an enemy bow turn blue, that's your cue to sprint-jump sideways or take cover behind a block. This prevents unnecessary damage and lets you conserve healing items.

In group combat with multiple skeletons, prioritize targets with blue charge first—they pose the greatest threat. Lower-charged enemies can be dealt with afterward.

This tactical advantage works especially well during raids or when exploring dangerous areas. The visual warning system essentially gives you a split-second heads-up before high-damage arrows arrive.
