Understanding Bow Charge Levels by Color

Color Progression Guide

The Bow Charger Resource Pack uses a four-stage color system to indicate your bow's charge level. Learning these colors helps you time your shots perfectly without looking at the durability bar.

Red appears when you first start pulling the bowstring back. This represents minimal charge—your arrow will travel a short distance and deal low damage. Use this stage only when enemies are very close.

Yellow indicates medium charge, roughly halfway to full power. Arrows at this stage travel a reasonable distance and deal moderate damage. This is often sufficient for mid-range combat.

Green shows high charge, nearly at maximum. Your arrow will travel far and hit hard—ideal for most combat situations.

Blue signals full charge. Your bow is at peak power, dealing maximum damage and sending arrows the farthest distance possible. Hold this briefly before releasing for optimal results.

Practical Application

During combat, glance at your bow's color rather than checking your hotbar. This keeps your focus on enemies and lets you react faster. Practice releasing at different colors to understand damage falloff and find your preferred charge point for various distances.
