Optimize Shader Settings for Low-End Performance

Balancing Quality and Frame Rate

Bounty Shaders is designed for low-spec hardware, but your slider adjustments can still impact performance. Smart configuration keeps visuals good without framerate drops.

Steps

1. Start with default or mild slider settings

2. Make one adjustment at a time (brightness, contrast, saturation, or vibrance) and monitor your FPS

3. If performance drops, reduce the intensity of that slider slightly

4. Avoid maxing multiple sliders simultaneously—compound adjustments strain weaker systems

5. Test in demanding areas: dense forests, large water bodies, and complex builds

Tips

Brightness and contrast adjustments typically have minimal performance cost. Saturation and vibrance are similarly lightweight. If you experience lag, the issue likely lies elsewhere (render distance, other mods, or system specs). Keep adjustments moderate—subtle enhancements maintain both visuals and performance on potato setups.
