Bounty Shaders lets you lift the darkness of nighttime without breaking immersion. Use the brightness slider to find a balance between atmospheric darkness and playability.

Steps

1. Open the shader settings menu (usually accessed through your video settings or shader configuration panel)

2. Locate the Brightness slider

3. Increase the value gradually to lighten shadows and dark areas

4. Test in different lighting conditions—caves, forests at dusk, and indoors—to ensure the adjustment feels natural

5. Avoid maxing brightness, which can wash out the world and eliminate contrast

Tips

If caves feel too dark for mining, a moderate brightness boost helps without making daytime look overexposed. Pair brightness adjustments with contrast tweaks for best results—higher contrast can make a slightly dimmer world feel clearer and more readable.
