Troubleshoot Pots That Won't Grow

Verify Your Materials Match

The mineral block and ingot must be from the same ore. If you place iron block with copper ingot, nothing will grow. Double-check the item names in your inventory.

Check Pot Placement

Botany Pots need to be placed on solid blocks. Ensure the pot itself is on ground, stone, or another solid surface—not on air or transparent blocks.

Confirm Slots Are Filled

Open the pot's interface and verify both the soil slot (mineral block) and seed slot (ingot) contain items. If either slot is empty, growth won't start.

Growth takes exactly one minute. A progress indicator should show activity.

Test with Vanilla Ores

If modded ores won't grow, try a vanilla ore like iron or gold first. This confirms the mod is working. If vanilla ores fail, the mod may not be properly installed or enabled.

If only specific ores fail, those ores may lack compatibility with this mod.
